As we shared in September, AMIP entered full matchmaking mode to prepare for Manufacturing Month — and the results speak for themselves. More than 20 businesses across our region are opening their doors to over 500 students, giving young talent firsthand exposure to modern manufacturing. In addition, AMIP is supporting 10+ Manufacturing Month events throughout Southwest Ohio, helping schools and employers create meaningful, high‑impact experiences.
AMIP serves as the Industry Sector Partnership (ISP) for Hamilton, Butler, Warren, Clermont, and Brown Counties. Over the past period, we’ve connected with Chambers of Commerce, Business Advisory Committees (BACs), and school district leaders across all five counties.
These conversations are helping us map the Southwest Ohio workforce development landscape with greater clarity. While there is still plenty of open territory to explore, we’ve already covered significant ground — and the momentum is strong.
This period also brought my first opportunity to serve as a panelist, allowing me to meet outstanding community partners and deepen relationships across the ecosystem. These connections — and the trust built through them — are essential to strengthening our collective efforts in workforce development.
I’m especially excited about our upcoming Q4 event, The Power of the Corridor, a collaborative convening between Cincinnati and Dayton. We’ll hear from influential leaders across the region and gather at the AM Hub to explore how our shared corridor can accelerate Workforce development.
